What this site collects

This website is a static information page. It does not use tracking, analytics, advertising cookies, or embedded social media components, and it sets no cookies of its own.

The site is hosted on Fraunhofer infrastructure. When you open it, your browser transmits technical information that is recorded in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the site and to maintain its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log data is deleted in line with Fraunhofer's standard retention practice.

Web fonts

The typefaces used on this site are served from the same Fraunhofer infrastructure as the page itself. No fonts are loaded from third-party providers, and no data is transmitted to external servers when the site is displayed.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us at the address shown on this site, we process the details you provide — your name, email address, organisation, and the content of your message — solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the contact relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet statutory retention obligations, then delete it.
